The second session of the 2025 Annual Town Meeting was an evening of exploring big projects and dreams for Needham's future. The most debate happened right off the bat as the august body wrestled with what made fiscal sense for a project filled with idealistic virtue. Two big housing projects sought support through the town's Community Preservation Funds, and members sought to find a way to move both of them forward. The culmination of the evening was another struggle, this time to advance the upgrade of DPW Facilities, which left some neighbors feeling that a promise was being broken.
