The Boston Marathon made its way through Framingham once again this past week. To commemorate one of the best traditions this community has, we wanted to look back at the history of the Marathon in honor of its 130th edition. In collaboration with the Framingham History Center, we learned more about how the oldest annual marathon on the planet started, and where it’s been–all while asking attendees of this year’s race trivia about its history.
